Ok. I got a intermittent wiper switch from a 91 4runner and I am wondering if it is possible to put it into my 88 pickup since I don't have any intermittent wiper at all.

Do you have the EWD`s for both years ??

That would make it easier.

When you say "You don`t have intermittent wipers" Just what do you mean ??

They don`t work or there not there at all ??

Looking at the 88 EWD it shows them . Does your wiper motor have the 4 wire black plug??

 

No I don't have it at all.
Yes, the wiring diagrams wouldn't be the problem. The problem is that the switch doesn't fit. The whole signal/wipers switch assembly has a different setup/holes and just switching the wipers switch doesn't work since it is to big for the old assembly.

Maybe look around for one off a 88 I think things changed in 89 or 90 .

Do you have a tilt steering column you might need to switch to one of those for the intermittent wiper combo switch to fit .

If I remember I will look in the day light.
