Hi,

I just finished valve gasket cover repair and notice this intermittent problem after.

It idles correctly at 800rpm and drives great with power. I actually feel more seat of the pants power ie freeway onramps.

However, there is an intermittent sputtering problem. It happens at low speeds, but not idle. For example, waiting for a car space in parking lot, I can sit idling no problems, but when I start to give it a little gas and let out the clutch it starts to sputter. I prevent a stall by pushing in the clutch and increasing the rpms.

Except for this the engine is running great. Would mixing up a vacuum line cause this?
