Interior Restoration Question
this is sort of a strange thing to ask, but is it possible to upgrade the existing plastic components of the interior of the vehicle, such as the inside door handles, the glove box latch, plastic trimming and door arm rests.
i was thinking of straighting out some of the warped plastic in the car, like the window switch cluster, by heating it up and bending it and perhaps adding a "layer" of some sort of plastic liner to add weight and durability. . . or something
like i said, its a little strange , but i was just wondering
peace

upgrade...like better handles that replace the stockers? I don't think so, but maybe go to your local pick'n pull to find some better condition plastic.
You can paint the plastics with some success, try the SEM plastic adhesion promoter, and trim paint.
Or you could wrap your plastics in upholstery...vinyl, canvas....i used sunbrella(similar to codora)
click my build link in my sig, not done yet, but concentrating on the interior
