Interior color code

Does anybody know the color code for a 1989 gray pickup interior? Google is not helping me out today.

I didn't know gray was such a rare color. I was looking to buy some vinyl dye while I was away working out of town so that I could jump right in to working on the truck when I got home.

I have a grey interior 4Runner and people offer to buy my seats all the time. I'm going to get a sticker for the windows saying "interior parts are not for sale".

What's your objective? To find a paint code or find matching paint? Terry87 once took plastic trim to an O'Reilly's that will match paint and put it in a spray can. It was about $25 a can. His interior was red. I've been using Duplicolor plastic and vinyl paint from Autozone and Advance Auto. I used the darker gray here. If you need the exact color let me know and I'll go look at the can out in the garage. The door pockets below were red. In person the paint seems exact, In the picture it's a little off. I've also painted an ashtray that looks perfect compared to the dash.

I'm looking to touch up the dash. I have some blue spots showing thru the factory dye job. I've had good luck with Color Bond on my F250 but they have 5 different Toyota gray colors. At $15 a can I'm not going to buy one of each. I'm just trying to narrow the field a bit.

I have done several interior pieces. Even in Nervo19's picture you can see the two different tones of gray Toyota uses. From a previous experience, I helped a member on the west coast and Oreilly and Autozone in not allowed to mix paint at their stores. California will not allow it and I think it applies to Washington and Oregon but could be wrong on those two states. As far as I know any other state the stores can mix interior paint. It has to be especially made for interiors.

When I get custom made paint I take a good example of the color that I want and go to the Oriellys Mother store that supports several other stores in the surrounding area. They can scan the piece that I brought in and mix it real close to what I want. Since it is custom mixed I suggest getting 2-4 cans mixed at once. Even if it is an exact match, all of your other pieces are faded and it will stand out with the freshly painted against the original pieces.

I have seen one of Stacey Davids show where he painted Ted Nugents Bronco and their are other shows where they used interior paint on builds. If done right, it looks great and holds up well.
Painting interiors is not had at all to do. Cleanliness of the pieces is what is important. After cleaning, I use Adhesion Promoter and then paint the pieces. I only suggest painting plastic and vinyl. On the 84-88 there is a code on the fire wall. On the 89-95 I think the code is in the drivers door jam.
C=Color of truck
TM= Trim color I think and am not sure if it refers to interior or exterior
A= Axle
TM =Transimission.

Not sure where you would take the "TM" and get that information at. I cant get a clear picture but maybe it will help.
