Injector timing switch help !!!

Injector timing switch help !!!
93 22re pickup has a hard time starting up usally when cold replaced the cold start injector and still does it. Is there a way to test this sensor before i throw money in the dark ?

If it's bad, pull a good one from a junkyard. These silly things are $200 new, $7 at a junkyard.
Also, pull out the actual injector and clean off the nozzle, it might be clogged.
