Hi All

I have a 1989 4Runner wiht the 22RE. I want to install a kill switch in my ignition to disable the car being started by unscrupulous thieves. does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram or know which wire in the ignition I can splice into to install the switch? many thanks to those who respond!

 

I would just pull the plug off the starter solinoid (the little wire on the starter) and extend it up to where you want the switch and back to the starter. That way you do not have to cut wires if you want to put it back to normal.
