From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
Ignition timing
How can i find out if my timing chain jumped a link? I know the dot on the cam should be a little left of 12 o'clock and the dot on the crank should be at 6 and the notch on the crank pulley should indicate that with the 0, right?
My question is will the bright links line back up or how do I know if the chain jumped?

Assuming you've installed the distributor correctly, if the crank is at 5*btdc, the rotor should be at 10 o'clock or on #1 spark terminal. If not, the cam and crank are out of alignment.
