Ignition Switch differences between MT/AT

Looking at Rockautos website for a new ignition switch. I see they have a few listed and they are stating "column shift" or "floor shift? My truck originally was an auto, but it was swapped to a manual tranny. The column isnt a clumn shift, and I havnt seen a column shift toyota, but I am not sure about 2wd trucks. I jsut want to make sure i order the right one. Thanks

There are actually several different options.

However, they never made a 4WD column shift, so that should make it easier.

You didn't really ask a question, you just posted what you observed. So...what exactly IS your question?

OH, just trying to know if there was a column shift on a 4wd 4runner. Since my truck was originally an auto I wasnt sure if it had a floor shift, since i didnt have any parts of it left.

No, no 4Runner ever has used a column shift. Only 2WD trucks ever had a column shift option.

All Auto 4Runners were Floor shift.
