I've searched and can't get a definitive answer. I know this sounds crazy but my 88 p/u has the buzzer disabled and I want to hook it back up! anyone have any pics of the location and what the heck it looks like???

 

On my 85 4runner its deep on the steering column. If you slide in there with your head near the petals looking up, you should see it. I remember it being a large harness... looks to run more than just the buzzer but I dunno.

on my 91, it was behind the drivers side kick panel

if I remember correctly, it was a little round white plastic assembly, that had a bunch of holes on the front of it where the speaker/buzzer was

 

so I found the buzzer box and it has a big harness hooked up to it. but then i found this connector hanging under the dash. does anyone know what this is to and does it have anything to do with the buzzer not working?????
