idling issue
After recent 200+ mile drive down the valley and back, my 4runner now stays at a high idle after I slow down. Even at slower speeds (30 mph) when I downshift it doesn't want to drop to a slower idle. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Yeah, which engine?
Is the idle high all of the time (cold, warm, after WOT, etc.)?
I had this trouble years ago, on a 3.0, when the idle screw came loose.
....OK, the 22re, right...wow, you have a pretty colorful little past on this site

idles high after getting to normal running temp, and after I downshift from 3rd to 2nd from driving 30 to 55mph for a good amount of time. Almost always after I come off the freeway and hit a stop it stays high. if I hit the gas and rev the engine quick, it drops the idle to normal.
