All you need is a timing light which you can either rent or buy. I bought one a few years ago for 20$ and have used it several times. The timing light even has directions in the package. If it's still a little confusing post back up and I'll try to take some pictures of the process.
i think i might be able to do this. but if you could maybe take some pics of your 22re and show me where the timing index scale and timing mark is that could help me alot to =).
also what timing light do i need to buy? there is like alot of different ones like advanced inductive digital etc etc???
