My friend just baught a 91 pickup with a 22RE and someone did a good job of hackin it up. It idles randomly, hi, low...... I'm comparing it to my 88 Runner and noticed they removed the white knob and associated vacuum lines on the middle of the driver side of the intahke as well as just capped off the line that went from it into the throttle body..... Anybody know what this is and what it does??? Thanks for your time.........TIM

 

I have the same problem to.it was with the throttle position sensor, it was removed then put back without being adjusted back to factory specs by a shop that im never going back to. anyway that might be somtin to check out, although your frens truck sounds pretty hacked up! goodluck
