dont get rid of it, i say find other people to wheel with. theres gotta be more than 4 people who enjoy wheeling in the state of new jersey. If mileage is a problem consider buying a smaller second set of wheels and tires.
I got to talking with my ap american history teacher who's from nj about Toyota's and he told me about his stock toy p/u he had back in high school and college that he would beat the crap out of and go off-roading in all the time. By the time he was done with it the skid plates were all messed up but he had no problems with it until someone rear ended him and he got rid of it.

i dont know about how it is where you live but here in washington you dont need insurance on a motercycle, you should be able to pick up one for $500-600 that will take you down the highway and save big $$ on gas. and whenever the weather isnt ideal you still have your truck. im sure you can find some new people to go wheeling with.

I am sorry if I came across that way, not how I meant it.

What I mean is if you find yourself strapped for cash its better to suck it up and work more. Like I said I work HARD, try working 7am-10pm and then some every saturday/sunday and then you tell me what hard work is. I'm just saying that if you live at home, work a partime job and go to school you got it easier than me. my job is mentally and physically exhausting, I drive around a van 8 hours a day doing AAA battery service, not only do i have to think, drive, but i gotta lift them heavy suckers and workon cars back at the shop when its slow, tow occasionally too..

As for your license deal, I know what its like..been there and done it since I am only 23. It is your fault if you got them, my brother hasnt learned and is stuck, take some of those classes and get them reduced so your insurance goes down.

Keep the truck dude, contact me about further trail rides or come visit me 2 weekends from now when I am off and ill show you some easy yet fun wheeling nearby. What town you in? I am in freehold..

Are you kidding? For now? Just keep the sucker....period. You got a real good truck with a real good motor. If you do anything, just knock out the lift and big tires and make it a daily and occasional offroader. Sell the parts and get a selectable locker. I don't know...something. AND/Or, take some of these guys up on their offers. I'm willing to bet one outing with any of them will get you back on the wagon. Don't be pooper.....

honestly....MOST of the points i have arent my fault. I got pulled over for my tire touching the center line as i was advoiding a dead deeer. I got a 2 point ticket for "leaving lane or traffic" I live in the worst cop town around.. I deserved the one for speeding. The other one was for a rigth hand turn i made on a no turn on red. BUT the sighn wasnt even there, and i had never been at the intersection before. Apparently a snowplow had taken the sighn out my accident and they hadnt put a new one up yet. yea, i got a ticket for that. So you can say its all my fault..but in this case, thats really not it. I'll keep the truck. Im gonna start redoing the stereo and small things to keep my interest up in it

You musta put a lot of cash and time building that truck into what it is now.. i could never sell anything that i put that much into.. id regret it way to fast

The third has 3 kids, and his jeep is broken...and the 4th is broke as hell and in the middle of a motor swap thats never going to get done. Here I am,19...driving a huge truck and i dont get to wheel! I woudlnt mind driving my truck all the time if i got to use it. but i have been offroad once since i got the truck 4 months ago..and before that, i hadnt been offroad since i had my wrangler in april. We just never go. I gues sim not seeing the point of driving a lifted truck, and not using it for what its built for. Am I wrong for this? I love my truck, and i love wheeling...But it just doesnt seem worth it to drive this gas guzzler and use it for nothing more than driving it on the streets. Help me guys...this is killing me. I feel like if i sell the truck im going t regret it...but i also feel im spending a lot of money in gas to drive a vehichle i dont need.
By the time stamp on your post you were up late thinking too much. Never make important decisions after 6:00 p.m. without sleeping on it and you'll make a lot less stupid ones. Things always look better in the morning (especially if you wake up to a hot woman (wife) each day like I do)

Keep the truck...and buy more WabFab stuff and mod it more!!!

wtf dude,
your talented, and gifted. (at least w/a great ride).
so, i think your friends are dragging you down,
take some advice, (from a guy who was born in the inGhetto of N.Y.C.) and did move across this awesome nation on 400bucks. (yup, i washed windows for gas, and found a paradise (so to speak).

lived in Cali, and at a young age, you will enjoy it.
i moved to oregon, washington, and alaska, montana, and worked in them all.
but by far and wide, everyone is happier in the west, and a lot more laid back.

take your life where you dream to be.
and hay,
if you love NJ, sobeit. but in the thread i read, you stand out far and above the friends you describe.

doesnt mean you have to lose your current friends, but they aint all there is.
