I recently installed a Weber on my 87 4x4 5spd 22r. I was looking at the linkages and realized I forgot something. The gas pedal linkage there is a j hook and at the end of the jhook there is a keeper. What is that called? Ideas? The parts store here isn't full of the brightest people and told me i needed to order a new jhook and everything to get that part.

Also I will be tackling the job of changing rear end transfer-case and transmission fluids this weekend. you guys have any tips on getting it done?

I'm not familiar with that exact set up, but if it has a groove on the outer end of the j-hook an outside c-clip might work for you.
