The kids obviously learned his lesson and doesn't need pedantics now. Lets pitch in and give him a hand.

Welp, Im just gonna face the consequences guys. I gave it my all and I still didnt fix it. Guess Im gonna a beatin or somethin tomorrow from daddy. Learned my lesson though.. Thanks to everyone who threw in information.
There is one thing Im proud of outta all my stupidity; I didnt get stuck. (physically that is.)

And for you that asked, I had made about 4 or 5 trips back to the house, and Ive eaten and got on here.Id been makin trips back since like 7 central time. So, Ive been prayin an hopin Id get everything fixed. But for now, Im stayin home. Goodnight to all. Thanks very much.

are you sure your alt is working? sounds to me like the alt craped out and now it didnt charge tha battery causeing it to die and now not start for you wait........


did you stall it out or did it just shut down on you how did the motor stop running on you? how is it on the hill is there any way you can roll it out of the water? leaving it in water might be a bad idea my buddy did that when we got his truck stuck and when we got there the next day the front tyre was under the dirt from it sinking

time to beat your so called friends for not helping you out...
im one of those guys that my buddies call whenever for help like that...
i got a call from my buddy at 2AM on a school morning and he was stuck in a ditch after taking a pee brake... so i cruised out there in the firechicken (RIP) and pulled his ass out...

stupid ford rangers... cant even 4 wheel their way out of a ditch...

Ditto , my cousin got me in a hell of a lot of trouble when I was driving my granddad's Silverado and he decided to borrow it to go mudding. Somehow he killed the alternator by driving through huge mud puddles. Same thing happened. For us though, the truck just died as we were on the way to the tire store as he had messed up the bead on 3 tires and they would only hold air for like 30 minutes. Terrible....
