Hub Dial bearing ?

The small ball bearing that goes in my manual hub dial is missing. Anyone know the size of the bearing or where i can get one....looks about the size of a BB.

Go to a craft shop. I bet you can find a bead about the same size. FIshing stores also have beads about that size used for tying fish flies. I doubt its really going to make a difference whether the decent ball has a hole in it or not.

thanks ....now those are some great ideas, that's why i like this place i went by a wrecking yard this evening and picked up a whole hub cover for $20 and got some gasket material to make a new gasket (dealer was gonna have to order it). I do think i will do what you all suggested and put a few spares in the tool box

thanks again,
highway
