I'm 6'3 and wear a size 13 shoe, when I had my '84 pickup, it took some getting used to.

It was almost impossible to move my feet while driving and wearing my winter hunting boots!

I don't own a reg. cab, but I've driven one a few times, and at 5'6" it was more than decent, but still definately not as roomy as a full size. I eat in my trucks alot, and it was a little tricky to eat in a reg. cab. I couldnt really get the seat back far enough. In my 250 I have tons of space, and I am kinda used to that, there's more room in there than my house.

my '91 is pretty roomy though i'm 6'1. the '79 has a lot lower roof so it's a little more cramped. you think eating is tough in a regular cab truck, try being 17 with your parents home and a girl in the next seat. good thing i had that 7' bed

I'm only 5'8", maybe 5'9 1/2" with my work boots. I find it a little snug in front. I run my seat all the way back. I have been driving an extended cab Chevy for several years so that may be the difference. I couldn't see being comfortable in a regular cab Yota if I was 6'+.

i might add that it's a little challenge not hitting the brake and gas at the same time in my '91 when i'm wearing my work boots...they put them very close together for some reason, while the clutch pedal is out way on the left by its lonesome.

my '79 has a HUGE gas pedal and i don't have any problems keeping off the brakes.

I'm only 6'1",but I have plenty of room in my regular cab/DLX, ride with seat all the way back. In my brothers truck though, which is not 4x4, and is not a DLX, I can barely even fit and it's very uncomfortable. Models are 93 and 94.

Are DLX's bigger or something? They must be.

I think it has more to do with your legs. I'm only 5'9" tall, but my legs are short. My brother is 6'0", but his legs are about 6"-7" longer than mine.

In any case, my brother has way more difficulty in my truck, and other vehicles in general. So maybe we should be asking what inseam everyone has?

nope, DLX is the base model. between the generations, all the cab sizes were the same for each generation -- no differences between 2wd or 4wd.
