How to Remove Sticker from Door Jam?
So I'm restoring my truck and am about to start stripping the cab.
Does anyone know how to remove the sticker from the door jam without wrecking it?
I'd like to re-apply it once it's painted
Can you order new ones?

If you really want to take it off, cover it with a good 2" wide clear packing tape first so that it won't come apart. Make sure that the tape is large enough so that your finger prints where you grasped the tape are not on the sticker, trim the tape so it is only covering the sticker. Warm the sticker up a bit with a heat gun to soften up the adhesive, take an olfa knife (exacto knife, etc), lift one top corner, work toward the other top corner, then peel it of the door post using constant and even pressure all the way down.
I have just stripped them off with out all of the above precautions, but I wasn't trying to save them to re-install them later!
