how to remove fuel pulsation damper on '88 22re?

This may seem like a stupid question, but I need someone to tell me which direction to turn my wrench to loosen the nut to disconnect the fuel rail and damper. It is really tight in both directions so I want to be sure I am turning it the right way when I put alot more force behind it.

Just specify if the non-gripping end of the wrench in the pic attached should be pushed to the right outside of the frame... or pulled to left towards the middle of the frame in order to loosen the nut.

Thanks

righty-tighty, lefty loosey

looking at it from the top like that turn it clockwise, or in your words, "pulled to left towards the middle of the frame in order to loosen the nut."

You need to turn your wrench over and go towards the engine.

thanks guys... just wasn't sure if I was supposed to be looking at it from the top or from underneath.... I'm gonna go give it whatever it takes to budge it now... then off with its head!
