how many miles are too many for a 4runner?

if thats on a 3.0L i would still me amazed .... most miles ive ever had on my last yotas was 173k and 167k on my last 4runner which was on its 2nd engine

'93 SR5 just turned 170k, all original under the hood, and the rest of the truck in great shape. I see no reason why this would not go well over 200k.
I used to have a '86 SR5 turbo - sold that to a neighbor at 276k and he had over 300k on it when he moved.

I don't think you can ever have too many miles on a 4Runner...
Mine is a baby yet, she just pasted 101,500...
But I plan on having her till she dies...
At least 2 times...

my '88 has 210,000 on the 3.0 still running fairly strong. This summer my dad and i are gonna put a fresh engine and transmission in it. Congrats on 400,000 thats incredible. If it were a jeep i think you would be on like your 5th engine by now. Anyways welcome to YT!

My first 4runner had 394,xxx miles on it when I sold it because the auto was going down. Original 3vz with only one headgasket change. It was a 90 model my dad bought off the show room floor that had plenty more miles in her.
