How loud are these mufflers?

I am looking to free some space under my 4Runner.

I am pretty sure this type of muffler is going to be way to loud. Anyone have an opinion... or direct experience with a muffler of this type or size on a 3.0? I currently have a Summit Turbo muffler on there now, and it works fine, sounds fine. I don't want the exhaust screaming at me all day on the trails... just looking for something with less width.

Click me:

This one seems to use a slightly different technology. Separates the exhaust and then let's it run back together. Quieter??

Hmmmm.... well, the opinions are helpful, and kinda what I thought.

Just really liked the compact size. 4" diameter as opposed to 10" or 12" across really would free up a lot of room for some mods I need to do.

So, that Morosso... just to loud for a V6 because of the higher revs? I guess the tubular design has basically zero baffles, thus the higher noise?

I've had my exhaust come apart a few times over the last couple of months so I know how important a good muffler can be.

I got a flowmaster 40 series to a 2 1/2 out the back with no cat, its not too loud and sounds kind of deep and throaty for a v6, if you want it quit get a 50 series I am a fan of flowmasters, or try a dyno max

Watch going too big of diameter pipe or you lose backpressure and low end power.

I got a 2.5 flowmaster on mine and I like the way it sounds not too bad but enough to trigger my other car's alarm.

I have the Flowmaster 40 and headers and they are noisier than I'd like. After doing some research, I'm considering going to the Walker Dynomax which is supposed to be much quieter but still offers very good performance.

The 4" diameter magnaflow is just a resonator. It will be quieter then a glasspack but it will still be fairly loud.

We don't carry the imco any more. V-flow(which is a different brand) is what we carry now. Same exact design as the imco though.

I have a pretty small muffler, and yet it still sounds pretty nice.
