how do I adjust sensor for ebrake on 94 pickup

Hi.
I tried searching in forums but couldn't find this topic. I have a 94 pickup with the ebrake that comes out of dash. I used to have to fiddle with it to get light to go off, but now the light is always on. Brake fluid level is good and brakes act normal. Also, ebrake does not seem to be stretched, etc. How would I adjust sensor so light turns off/ Thanks.
Dave

youll have to crawl under the dash and check the switch to see if it is stuck. give it a shot of wd40 or pb blaster to try and free it up.

IIRC, that switch is just down at the end of the e-brake stick under the dash....

THe other possibility is a bad level switch in the brake MC...
