how to disable the seat belt alarm?

That is a very annoying and long buzz/alarm. I would assume there is an easy way to disable it? other than clicking your seatbelt before turning the key.....

my alarm buzzes for about 7-9 seconds. I want to wear my seatbelt, but I just dont like the alarm buzzing at me before I click it into place. just figured its a common annoyance for 1st geners....no? Mine sounds like a sick cat.

mine tends to be rather annoying as well...i have plugs under my seats tho, and if i dont plug em in there is no noise...as said earlier tho, you could hit up a junker, cut off just the male part of the buckle, and just leave it plugged into the reciever all the time, but you wouldnt be able to buckle up then either...

the seatbelt one doesn't bother me as much as the one thats on my door...

about the seatbelt buzzer, just take the 2 wires that are running into the seatbelt clicker and just cut them and splice them together, cause thats all your really doing when you put your seatbelt into it anyways is completing the circut.

i had to do this when i put in harnesses into my old integra since it had the sliding buckles that come up automatically (horrible engineering on those darn things) but the buzzer would just stay on, and the wire splicing took care of that.
