how to clean wheels?

so i have the stock SR5 rims and like most rims ive seen this old and this style the clear coat is coming off the wheel so it looks like crap. how can i clean this off? i want it all gone so its got the same look through out. what do i use?

get some air craft remover spayem down that will remove all clear coat sand the wheels starting on 600 grit and work your way to 2000 then grab some aluminum polish and them suckers will look chrome

sweet. cam i just get that stuff at autozone and places like that? or do i need to go somewhere special?

Ken has a really good write-up on how to strip off the clear coat and then you can polish them really good.
