I ran into another guy at a gas station who about a 90-91 hilux. First thing he asked was if I had to replace my engine yet. Turns out he had to do $8500 worth of engine repairs stemming from a head gasket. From what he has heard, it seems to be a common thing. Just wondering if any of you have heard anything about this.

 

It probably was the 3vze engine with the problem headgaskets...
