High Idle

High Idle

Hey guys.
Ive got a 93 pickup v6 4x4 and its consistently idling around 1900-2000 rpm anyone now of some problems that could be causing this??

That being said... I start by checking for vacuum leaks.

Agree with team420, could be somthing as simple as your idle screw or a lot of other idle issues, or like he said, vacuum leak.

but does it idle that high when its warmed up? or just on cold starts?

much better than a low idle. whenever i'd push the brakes it would die..
