This truck started as an '86 extended cab. 22RE with an auto trans. I stayed with the auto trans because they will be tourist buggies and need to be very user friendly. It has a locker in the rear with 4.10 gears, I am running low range 1st and 2nd gear only. Truck has plenty of power for what I am doing. Motor is stock, with steel guided timing chain and a header. I shed a bunch of weight, that is where I choose to pick up my power. I am running 36" tall tires, with Total choas Idler arm, and few other little things. Very durable and dependable.

Yes I did cut the frame and shorten the wheel base, this being an extended cab, I cut 29" out of the frame. It turns on a dime, and has no ground clearance issues for my use anyways.

It looks disgusting in my opinion. Even though it was put together nicely.

I don't know if I'd go that far....

I'd prefer to go another way myself, but agree with others and applaud your creativity and originality.

I am betting it will be super easy to find in a busy parking lot.

Kinda over the top for my tastes - too much polished/graphics. Paint it one colour, powdercoat the polished to black, and sign me up! Looks like it'd be fun to drive.

This is not my full time job...just a hobby! I am a Financail Advisor with a gift to work with metal.

Hi all, first post here,

I like it, don't think it's ideal for the English weather, but I'd drive it during our two weeks of summer!
