ok so installed an 88 sr5 auto 4cly cluster into my 88 dlx 4cly i installed the sr5 oil sending unit before ever hooking up the cluster. Cluster and everything works but the 3 problems.

1st. I dont get a Check Engine Light in the ON position or at ALL.?? (Bulb is Good) and it didnt work when dlx cluster was in.
2nd.The Temp Gauge goes straight up to Hot in ON position and will stay there till i turn truck off?? (no matter what temp the truck is at.
3rd. The Oil gauge wont read? it stays on bottom.

any help will be appreciated Thankz...

 

I would make sure the oil pressure sending unit isn't bad. Make sure you hooked up all the wires correctly.
