Help with wire identification

I have two errant wires that originate at the driver side to the right of the brake booster and seem to go into the cabin. They run along the back of the engine bay and make their way over to the battery but they weren't plugged in....

I am guessing something the PO did but there is only a non-mp3 cd player and no other ICE so it doesn't seem sub related or anything. The radio works too and these wires are unplugged.

Not reading a current in them (with the key not in the ignition). I just want to make sure they aren't factory wires and if so, I will go ahead and yank them. Two less wires in the engine bay sounds good to me!

I'm guessing its remnants of an old security system.
