help tranny/clutch on my dd and i need to fix it

it is makeing a loud clicking noise that gets faster as i go faster coming from the tranny area im thinking it is the clutch going cuz when i push in the clutch it imediatly stops, it also vibrates the truck pretty good, im ready to fix it and sell my yota i have had alot of problems lately and i love the truck hate the problems

Sounds like you may be having a problem with the throw out bearing. I say that because you indicated that the noise goes away when the pedal is depressed. Might as well be the whole clutch though, because you will have to pull the tranny/tcase to replace it.

turned out to be my rear end, only had 2 teeth left on the pinion lol guess it was good i checked that before tearing into the tranny, to bad my ARB is screwed

A bad t/o bearing would make racket when the pedal is pushed in, anyway.....not released. The pilot bearing would cause the noise when released.

Can't say I'm glad you found the problem, if you know what I mean. ARB totally screwed....really?
