Help on Speedo Repair
My speedo works when it wants to. 90% of the time the needle rests at 0 or locks to 75. It even went off the charts once
does anyone know of a fix for these without replacing the cluster? I already replaced the digital sender off the transfer case and the pig tail. It did nothing.

Never heard of it being done before. Don't believe it's possible myself. But I could be wrong. I'd probably atleast tear it apart and I found out for sure if it were mine though. Being's how the speedo assembly is so spendy, and any cheaper fix is definitely worth a shot. If it can't be done then you're gonna have to buy a new one anyway. You can buy just the speedo assembly from Toyota, you don't have to replace the entire cluster. They're not too cheap, about $240 or so. It would probably be cheaper to replace the entire cluster with a used one, but then you don't really know what you're getting into there. Could have speedo troubles again in the future, depending whether you get lucky or not.
Good luck!
Good luck!
