Help with spark plugs
I know this sound dumb but i cant change my spark plugs. I have done it before though. I have a 94 4runner with the 3.0 and 4wd. On the passenger side though do you have to unhook all those wires and hoses before you can really get at those plugs. i just really dont want to but i know all the plugs are crap. of the two i did change both electrodes were toast and one sheared in half. Or if anyone lives in the charlottesville, va area and would lend me a helping hand that would be great since i just moved here and have very limited tools
Thanks

No....atleast I never have. I don't see a need. You just need some extensions. Wobbles are helpful. I know it's a bitch to get in there, but you just have to buck up and do it.

yea changing the passenger side back plug is a bitch.. I used several extensions a couple or the universal joint type things cant remember what they are called but you can use your wrench at an angle went sorta like this socket..extension..universal joint thingy..really long extenson than the wrench...lol it worked tho

i always tape my spark plug socket to the extention im using, so i dont lose the socket down in the well. also, just use the extention and socket with the plug in it to start the plug by hand, make sure it goes in smoothly all the way up to the crush washer, then torque to spec, or by feel. this seems like common sense, but ive seen so many people just use a ratchet, and a few screwed up heads as a result.
