Exclamation HELP! Rear Wiper Wont stop wiping!!

I have a 93 toyota 4runner, and when i pressed the rear wiper button the wiper doesnt stop. i have to disconnect the wiper motor but when i do this my rear window wont go down to enable me to open my trunk! What do i need? a new switch or a new wiper motor or is there some sort of fuse? please help!

Sounds like a bad switch. Disconnect the switch and test for continuity with the switch on and no continuity with the switch off.

If you have the switch removed and the wiper is still on, then its not the switch. Locate the relay box that controls the rear window and wiper and unplug it and see if the wiper stops then, if it does then its possible one of the relays has gone bad and is stuck on (this is only a guess on my part), you can get new relays to rebuild the relay board, ive done this before, because to replace the complete relay box is 300-400 dollars, but you can get the relays needed for less than 20.00 dollars.
