I have a 1995 4Runner 3.0 V6 with a 3in lift and 33s. I’m struggling with finding the correct springs. I bought OME 9201s and they were about a good 1.5in shorter than the ones on the runner. I do not know what the old coils are. I bought the truck with the lift and am trying to upgrade this thing. My buddy ( Toyota Technician with a 3rd gen 4Runner ) and I can’t find anything online more than 2in lift.
If anyone’s know the part numbers or model numbers of rear springs for a 2nd gen 4Runner with a 3in lift, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Colt
It’s got drop brackets I believe. The Toyota tech believes that they’re a T100 lift kit in the front. I don’t know how accurate that is though. The runner is kind of a freak. It’s got a 3 link with a pan hard. It’s all adjustable and all looks home built by the previous owner. It’s a headache figuring out what all has been done but something I’m determined to figure out.
By upgrade I mean just getting new and replacing the old worn out parts. No more lift than it already has.
Here is some pics of the underside. I don’t know why I didn’t post pics with the original post.
Interesting. The drop bracket kits are all "4 inch lifts". 1st and 2nd gen runners, 2nd and 3rd gen pickups, and 1st gen t100s all have the same front end components, so the lift could be for any of them. But the 2nd gen 4runers are the only ones in that list with coil springs in the back. Your runner was a 4 link with pan hard from the factory, and looks like the standard "drop bracket" kit...minus one link for some reason.
