I put a whole through mine with my finger one dark night and so I went to the dealer to get a new one (took the bezel in with me) and he looked it up and said it had been DISCONTINUED and that I was SOL.

Little miffed since I don't think he really took the effort to look hard I went home got on the net found posts from 2006 that people were still getting the entire plastic bezels ($30) and the plastic inlays for $5 FROM THEIR DEALERS. And I found that "glowing" version on ebay but that was it and I don't want the obnoxious blue-glowing inlay. I have the OEM green-theme goin in this truck from the cig lighter to the stereo to the CB. Looks great till i poked a whole directly infront of the bulb that backlits the heater controls (like a flood light in your eyes at night!)

anyways, meticulously finding all the broken pieces of stitched the bezel back together with tape on the backside and some duct tape and sharpie to hide light from coming through the cracks. IT LOOKS OK but you look close you can see the cracks.


Is my dealer full of ?…?…?…?… or is this really discontinued? Anyone got a part #?? There were what looked like Part numbers on the back of the bezel but I think I saw like 5 or 6 different numbers.

I see these all the time on eBay. I would check with another dealer though just to be sure. One dealer I talked to (for my jeep) told me that you simply cannot get replacement parts for any car over 10 years old. He actually said that. He said that the dealership couldn't order it because they've all been discontinued. He told me that the reason was that after 10 years, it's assumed that the car is not serviceable and has been sent to the junkyard.

There are idiots out there and they are very, very lazy.

take it to a copy shop I bet they could copy it and print it on a plastic card stock.

Definitely not discontinued. I just looked it up on my computer at work, runs about $35 and it is readily available (should only take 1 business day to get).

I'm still looking for just the sticker. I know I got mine about 3 years ago for about 5 bucks.
