I had to tell someone!

Dropped the runner off at the exahust shop down the street this morning. Drove the truck around the block a couple of times this weekend to sort out the last few bugs before its "big" trip 10min down the street to the exahust shop.

(for those that havnt been following along im at the very end of a 6 month long rebuild on it)

got issues with the transfer case, its confused about what 2H and 4 low are.

anyway the drive over this morning was a bit never racking but things went as good as i could have hoped.

so for $350 ill get headers back, with "custom" Y pipe (2.25), 2.5" back from the cat and a generic muffler. Should be ready for pickup this afternoon!

Ill snap a few pics of what i wind up with, hopefully it wont be a mess. I KINDA know the guy and talked it over with him about what i wanted and stuff while looking at the underside.

Im stoked to be able to drive it with out wakeing the dead and finnaly be able to tune it some and get some miles on it!

 

Sweet! I remember when I did mine. I drove it 15 miles across town open headers at 7am. I KNOW I woke everyone that morning.

except for that nasty ticking rattly sound comming from my engine under acceleration

you know once you get that loud exahust delt with ......


i suppose the upside is that i have no engine codes.
