Head gasket replacement

Good evening. First time posting. I have a 93 Toyota 4x4 that had a bad head gasket. I tore it down, had the head reworked at a local shop and put everything back together. I used an OEM head gasket and when I got everything together and started turning it over to prime the oil pump, I noticed oil pouring out (not dipping, pouring) on the passenger side of the engine. It is coming from between the head and the block right below the front bottom intake bolt. This is my first time working on a 22RE engine, but not first time doing engine work. Everything was going smooth, not sure what I did wrong. Any thoughts on what is going on?

Could it be coming from the front 1/2 moon seal, then blowing back?
There's also the fuelpump block-off plate (the fuel pump for a carb 22R mounted there). I assume you installed the plate and sealed. That'd gush oil if not installed. It's in that very location you described.

It’s definitely not the half moon, and yes, I did install the block off plate and gasket.
Here’s a picture, if you zoom in you can see the oil running down the block.

Toyota does recommend a very small dab of fipg be applied at the spot where the timing cover and block mate up just before the headgasket is installed. But I can't imagine anything more than a very slight seep at best if that's not done, if anything at all. If the block has every been decked that would complicate replacing the timing cover at a later date.
By the photo i can't tell the difference between oil and coolant. Oil is only circulating in the head/block/pan, while coolant is running all over the place. You got a ton of various coolant-related pipes and hoses in the area under the intake.
What's adding to my confusion is on the 22R# any oil leaks on the engine tend to get blown straight back by the fan blade. It's unusual to see it scattered very far to the side.
I'd probably go get a good degreaser and clean that all up, let it dry and start fresh.
If it turns out to be at the headgasket seam you'll just have to pull the head and start running a straight edge over the block and head surface.

It’s definitely oil coming out from under the head gasket. I’m guessing the gasket didn’t seal where what I’m thinking is the oil passage hole feeding the head. I have a picture from when I removed the head originally, I circled the spot it’s leaking. That’s the area it’s leaking in, where the block has that little squared off section next to an oil passage hole. I’ll pull the head again and check the mating surface of the timing cover and block to make sure the cover isn’t a little higher keeping the gasket from sealing.
