Have a few questions about what size lift to get

I recently bought a 1990 pickup as a first vehicle (Pictured below) and I am going to be getting a SAS done. Just getting the last bit of money together. I want to run 35x12.5's. Its currently on 33x12.5's with 4" of lift and 1" body. Also is currently using 4.88's but will be going to 5.29's.

What I wanted to know is will a 3 in lift along with the body lift clear 35's and have no rubbing or will I need to start cutting?

I would say it may rub depending on the offset of the rims, but i'd personally rather it be lower and have to deal with cutting than putting it too high. better to err on the low side

So would you say 2" lift and stay on 33's?

Well I'll go with the 35's and a 3" lift. Do not want to cut anything no rust on the truck at all except on the front fenders. Got new fenders that will be going on when my Addicted Offroad winch gets purchased.

Oh and can anybody recommend some good steel rims. Going to sell those rims and tires.

i personally would stay on 33s yes. that's the most i myself would go on this wheelbase. it's entirely up to you, and what kind of terrain you plan on driving in/on, but for what i do 33s are more than sufficient.
