Hmm, Ive done same to mine minus the hubs, and I average (city/hwy) ~17, but mine is a 5spd...I say you get a 5.6mpg increase.

Give the man some time, goodness!!

He posted YESTERDAY that the mods would be done TODAY. My guess means that will be after he picks up the parts, after he cashes the paycheck, after work today, and then he'll have to drive at least a couple tanks to get the figure.

BTW, LAMM: Don't even include results from the first tank of gas, you'll do too much "experimenting" to see how it feels!

Well, I am almost done, just need to do the hubs now. It is amazing how smooth it goes when you use OEM parts.

My odometer is 6% behind my GPS if it matters to you.

Also,I have a little more than 1/2 tank of gas in it right now so I will get my fill of seeing how well it runs and such on the remainder of that tank. Then, after the next fill up, back to normal.

The prize will not be all the old parts, but that would be funny!

Average/Both. I rarely drive on the highway long enough to calculate highway MPG, but often use the highway for 10 miles or less at a time.

Has anyone noticed that the last 6 guesses are all engine displacements? LOL

6.7 (Cummins I6 coming in 2007.5 dodges)
3.8 (Buick v6)
2.2 (Smaller chevy I4)
4.3 (Chevy v6 duh!)
4.6 (Ford v8)
2.4 (damn near every toyota I4 known to man!)

And of course surf4runner had to screw it up with a 3.0xxxx instead of just saying 3.slow, I mean 3.0! LOL
