my guess was not Pi. I was making a funny funny joke. If you reeaaad my real guess is 5.8...since my Cougar has....dundundun..a 5.8L engine. See, it all ties in.

Hey Lamm how many decimal places are you going to round to? If you are going to three or more I'm sticking with Pi [field berry pi(e) yum yum] but if you are going to round to only two decimal places then I'll take 3.17 [MPG improvement].

edit: a big gracias out to Bumpin'yota for the clerical work.

And the winner is.................
The man who knows the 3.0 inside and out... NUNSA!
With a guess of 1.5 MPG gain he was closest to the actual gain (calculated both ways even, with and w/o odometer error.)
The gain was 1.43 MPG uncorrected, 1.52 corrected. I now get a "true" 14.02 MPG!
Not as much as I had wished for but worth while none the less.
Nunsa, PM me with you address and choice of either a NEW Painless brand aux switch that fits Toyota knockouts or a CB antenna spring.
Thanks for playing, there may be more contests in the future.
Thanks again to Bumpin Yota for the master list.
And of course, I am still hunting for more MPG so keep ideas flowing.
On a side note, the gas I bought today cost $2.37 a gallon!!!

Yeah, these are the uncorrected for odometer figures:
Before
-11.9
-11.9
-11.6
After
-13.1
-13.5
-13.1
Diff of 1.4+
Odometer is 6% slow.
