Hey, my name's matt. I finally got myself a toyota. I found it on craigslist.org. I got a 89 4runner for 100 bucks with a blown motor. I don't have pictures right now, but I should be getting a digital camera pretty soon. It's a 89 4Runner with the V6 3.0 motor. The frame is literally RUST-free (some surface rust which I will sand off) and it came from Boston. Theres some rust on the fenders which is usual.

I got 35s for it, but I gotta get a 3 inch body lift and a 3 inch suspension lift on before I can fit them.

awsome are you going to swap in a 3.4L... and your going to need a regear for 35s

Nah, I'm gunna just shove a 3.0 back in there cuz I don't have the time nor money to swap a 4.3 in there. I also don't really know how either.

he meant 3.4 not 4.3....3.4's came in the 96 and up runners and tacomas.
