Unhappy Google Fu weak; roof & "A" pillar repair

I do remember a thread about a white 4runner getting an "A" pillar repair & some fiberglas sides. A doper cut me off and half rolled my '88 4runner (honk as you go under). I need to fix the roof & driver side "A" pillar which got bent in and the whole left side slid down the asphalt and trashed. I do have an '87 PU for a partial roof & "A" pillar donor.

I'm trying to find that thread & OP so I can fix mine.

Post a pic of the 4runners damage, and if you repair it maybe do a write up?

Red face

Remove glass that is not all ready gone from both vehicles .

Cut damaged parts out keeping heat to a minimum .

Cut out good parts keeping heat down.

Line it all up get it perfect .

I am still old school so I weld things.

I hear tell some great new stuff out to glue these things together .

finish with the body filler prep and paint.

Pictures would be neat
