GOOD looking hood scoops?

Im looking for a nice looking functional hood scoop for my 86 pickup. I have a buick 3800 under the hood, and im just looking for some additional cooling for it. If anybody has pictures and links of what you run, that would be awsome! I know not a lot of people run them, but im sure a few of you have em

If you are into fab work, maybe you could do something custom. Other than that, you might be SOL, but not completely.

yea, not real big into fab work. See, I run the BUICK 3800 with a holley carb and the intake sits right ontop of that. Im looking for a nice scoop that will put air right into the intake. I guess im gonna have to do a custom deal here...

I cut a 16" hole in my hood and let the aircleaner stick thru. I didn't have any clearance under the hood, and always used a dropped aircleaner, but the last motor I built I added a 1" spacer under the carb and it wouldn't fit without a bodylift. I wanted to make a hoodscoop for it, but it works pretty well, lets out lots of heat, rain dosen't bother it, and it looks pretty good (I allways liked "Shaker hoods").

I don't have to remind you about why these things are junk, do I? Tell me, what's wrong with this picture?

Uhmmmm.... is it that the chick should be way skinnier if they are trying to distract potential buyers from not realizing there is no reason to vent a hood if your engine is in the back.

What's wrong with keeping the luggage cool? Maybe they keep the beer cooler in there too.

with the engine you have a cowl would serve some purpose. Molded in right it would look pretty good. Just a thought

does it look hald decent though? Granted my trucks no beauty truck, but I like it to look HALF WAY respectable. I think a cowl hood would look badass on the truck. Does someone want to photoshop a 3 inch cowl hood onto my truck? Heres two pictures I THINK would work for the photochop

The hotrod/drag industry is about the only place to look. http://www.eharwood.com/catalog/scoops.php
