I'm certainly no gear expert, but the first thing that comes to mind is new crush sleeve or solid pinion spacer?

Hopefully, Zuk will chime in soon with the real answer.

This post certainly supports my theory that gears have to be re-set-up (at least checked by someone who knows what they're looking at) after installing a full carrier locker...

also i checked the pinion preload last night and its really low (1-2in LBs) is that normal for a brokin in diff? i know a freshly set up diff should be 10-12

I thought a new one was 10-12 and a used one was 8-10. Regardless, 1-2 is WAY too low.

I come back to the solid spacer/pinion shim setup.

Loosing the pre-load like that is normal. If the bearings are cryo treated the pre-load will last 2 to 4 times longer.

Your coast pattern looks off....too close to the heel. But with used gears that have worn in one exact spot, finding that spot again can be tricky. try INCREASING the BL a little....that will pull the coast to the toe end.
