Gas mileage

Hello everyone, Just curious to what kind of gas mileage a stock 87 22r turbo auto trans should be getting. Thanks in advance.

Tuned up I would guess 20mpg. Assuming you drive it gently.

And depends on the tire size....if it's something other than stock. But, yeah, between 17 and 20.

i have 31's and dont drive it hard at all. its not running to good and gets 14mpg wich sucks. Just put a newly rebuilt engine in it so it has a New fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wirs, cap, rotor, and engine. TPS checks out fine.
Can any one give me the part number on the top of the MAF? I am starting to think its not the correct one.
Thanks again

31's are a tad large for that rig (the difference being that you have an automatic), but you should still be getting mileage than that.

What makes you think you have the wrong airflow meter? (BTW, you have a Volum Air Flow meter and not a Mass Air Flow meter. I'm not trying to be a prick, but they are different. Same principle, but have different circuitry and work differently. The MAF's are used on later model vehicles. This is just so you know.)
