my bro is finishing up his all pro flat bed kit on his 88 pickup, and we're looking fo ideas on where to mount the gas cap. i want him to shorten the top and put it on the side, just above the frame rail, he's considering putting it in the bed.
what have any of you done? pros and cons?

 

Where ever you put it make sure it is protected so you don't rip it off on the trail. I like the idea of putting it in the bed.

 

i would make it fit in the side bar, or get a real trick new one from summit or downey and make a design pics would help too.
