Nope. Just thinking that I would have never started this if I'd known it was going to go this route..... Still funny as hell though.

we're a bunch of dirty old people who like nothing more than innuendo (your endo, not ours) so...
you have wheels with a clear coat and it's flaking off. there is nothing you can do to your wheels until the old clear coat has been removed. naval jelly and other strippers (no, not the blonde type) can help remove the flaky things.

 

I had a set of factory SR5 wheels in pretty bad shape, so i used furniture stripper to take the clearcoat off and then sanded them with progressively fine grit emry cloth and used aluminum polish and they turned out awesome. You have to polish the wheels every week or so to keep them shiny but do they ever shine. Hope this helps.

 

I have the offset 8's with the same flakey problem. Can I strip them and then put a clearcoat back on?
