Fuel regulator hose

Went to the dog park today and while I was loading the mutts up to head home I smelled gas pretty bad. When I got home I popped the hood and found my hose from pressure regulator was spraying gas pretty good.

Before I pull it off and replace it I was trying to find out if fuel is going to keep coming at me when I have it off.

Other than the hose and maybe a new set of clamps is there a gasket I need to replace or is the clamps all that’s in there.

I found this part number 23811C or Toyota 23273-65010 for my truck if anyone else is looking for it down the road.

From the FSM:

It does call for an o-ring between the regulator and the delivery pipe. Other than that, just the clamps.

Does that help at all?

That does help a lot. Though my issue was with the rubber hose. I got a new one and I’ll get it on there tomorrow I hope.

I wasn't sure. I figured that o-ring is pretty important though

The hoses just need the clamps, yes. No other seal/o-rings I'm aware of. Important that the sealing surface is good and clean before slipping the hoses on, though.

Anywho, good luck! Let us know how things work out for you!

I got it on today. Fixed my issue. If your riding on your original one or something close to that get on it and get it replaced. I did a lot of hoses but somehow passed this one. Glad I caught it. Could have been bad.
