brand for fuel filters dont really matter do they? im thinking about going to autozone and getting one there.

 

I really don't know if it makes a difference or not. I have always bought mine from the dealer just to play it safe. It's not something that has to be changed very often anyway, so I don't mind paying a few dollars more.

 

i get them from pep boys, no problems at all, they're fine

 

i would get a oem one my self

 

Napa gold, and I replace mine every 20 to 30 thousand.

 

Mine is way over due...
But when I tried to get it changed at a local oil lube place (this is when I first got the Runner and was a littel sceptical on doing stuff on it on my own)
They tired to change it, but i guess teh dumb^$$ that put the one that is on there now threaded it wrong so now the thread patern dosne't allow a new one on...
I am still trying to think of a way to fix that little problem...
But that will only happen when the filter becoems a serious issue...
