Fuel Filter?

Anyone with an extra minute...94 4yl 4wd pickup questiona little backgroud first)the truck was parked for 3 weeks (out of town), then started up pretty quickly...drove it on close to E for a few miles before filling up 10 gallons, and using a bottle of heet. There was a little stutter at around 10mph prior to the gas/heet, which subsided after the gas/heet. Drove 60 miles to around 6000 ft elevation (from 3000 ft), 30 degrees or so outside. It started up after sitting for a few hours, then quickly stalled. Then started and stalled a couple times and then wouldnt start at all. Got a tow back to town, it started right up...Quick starts for a couple days, and now it will turn over without starting at the first attempt, and then start up immediately on the second attempt. If this sounds familiar to anyone who has a minute, let me know what you think-thanks a million

How old is your filter? That's a good place to start. I'd also run some injector cleaner through it. Seafoam is good...so is chemtool.
